Thanks for posting this. Very interesting comments were made. It is nice to see that the kids see other areas where budgets reductions could be made. Why isn’t this obvious to the administration?

Look who the star of the show is, I am not surprised. Now I can understand why our news media is so biased. They are not taught very well. These two clowns need to get their facts straight before they speak.

BCC this is very informative. Some of those kids are self absorbed and they have no idea what it is like to pay taxes. I hope their parents get a chance to see this. Some parents should be very proud their kids recognize that people are being hit with hard times and it is necessary to reduce the budget.

Did anyone else hear what Duane Ford said? This is the guy the school board puts up every year as the so called expert on most things. What a laugh. Ford called the Bow School System an Economic Engine. An economic engine brings in revenue to a community not constantly takes away revenue. Don’t get me wrong churning out students with a good education is good but that has to be balanced with the cost to provide that education. Mr. Ford a good example of economic engines in Bow would be the Bow Power Plant, Grappone’s, the Hampton Inn, and all the small businesses that support the Bow Tax Base. Let’s think about them once and a while when we make budget decisions.

I am a new poster and I like this website. I just want to remind everyone that Tea Parties should start with you local government, then state, and then national. The town of Bow needs your support.
