Notes on the Crisp bankruptcy: The Crisp’s purchased the home in Bow for $367,000.00. They took out a mortgage for $220,000.00. This leaves a balance of $147,000.00 the Crisp’s had to pay for the home. All this before the Crisp’s bankruptcy was discharged.

If the Crisp’s were bankrupt as they claim, where did the $147,000.00 come from? Did they have more than $147,000.00?

On the first page summary the IRS is listed twice. #2 IRS amount may be the amount Crisp paid the IRS to settle, the file isn’t clear. So the first amount, $125,095.52, may be the original amount, #2 the total from the first amount that was paid. Again, the US Department of Justice had an attorney involved with the IRS related to Crisp’s bankruptcy. Why would DOJ be involved? Was their any alleged criminal or civil questions?

The Certificate of Service lists the State of NH, Dept. of Employment Security with a contact person named. Arnold Rocklin-Weare. This man is an investigator for DES. Why would DES have an investigator involved with Crisp’s bankruptcy?

Also, the NH Dept. of Labor, Wage and Hour Administrator was listed. Why?

The articles are self explanatory and disturbing. Disturbing because clearly Jack Crisp cannot manage his own affairs or his business affairs.

    Questions to Jack Crisp:
Why did you not come clean about your bankruptcy and failures in Berlin when you ran for Bow selectman the first time on ?

Do you believe that your bankruptcy history is irrelevant?

Where did you get $147,000.00 or more?

    To: Taxedout:

My explanation about Crisp not disclosing his past is because he is
comparable to the disgraced NH Supreme Court judge Steve Thayer
who was railroaded out of Concord for attempted case fixing. The
AG of NH told him get off the bench or you will be prosecuted !!

Thayer then obtained a position with TSA in Washington for $135,000
per year but failed to disclose his reasons for departure from Concord.

The employees of TSA built a non complimentory web cite for Thayer
because he did not disclose his past.

Search judge Steven Thayer, NH TSA!!

Thanks are likely due to Hap for providing these documents. I haven’t had the opportunity to give them close scrutiny, but a couple questions I have are:

    1. What is the source of the very first documents, with the alleged total outstanding debt. There is no reference. It could just have as easily been typed in Word as be a legitimate document.

    2. The same is true for the “Amount Repaid” page. Given that it has the typical anti-Crisp vitriol, it’s a little hard to believe that this comes from a legitimate site. Given the promise that “these consist of newspaper articles, letters, and court documents, all public domain,” I have to wonder if I’m being sold a bill of goods here.

    3. Many of the newspaper article appear to be editorials. Is this in fact the case?

    Thanks in advance for clarifying.

    Publius,

The source is clearly Major James MacFarlane he would have these records. If you were scammed by Jack Crisp for Six Million dollars you think he would want to get that information out. Wouldn’t you? I think after reading this, Jack Crisp has a new nickname the Six Million Dollar Scam. Taking a person who served his country for six million dollars is cold. Crispy Cold.

Publius, I think you are the fraud trying to deflect attention from this very important issue facing Bow voters.

    Is Bow the next Berlin?

  5. yeswecan says:

Right now publius is looking for his thesaurus to come up with some big words that say absolutely nothing in his retort.

  6. taxedout says:

Don’t respond to Publius. Now that the Crisp document are up, is he/she happy, satisfied, whatever? No. Does he recognize the documents and is he thankful that, unlike him/her, someone did produce? No, he isn’t.

    Why?

Because he is determined to distract. Tom Keane is not the subject matter here, Jack Crisp is. My suggestion is that the moderator remove or move any futher slippery slope spin that Publius tries to discuss off topic.

  7. Admin says:

The first two lists were merely a culmination of all the amounts listed in the court documents for those not wanting to go through them themselves, courtesy of the sender.

However if you do, you will see all these amounts listed in one place or another.

These documents are either official court documents or as you can see, newspaper articles that are actual scans of the printed paper. So there is no question about their validity.

  9. bowandarrow says:

Right on, taxedout! What’s this guy’s problem? He think he’s so much smarter than us, but we know he’s the dumb one.

Like all lawyers, he’s never satisfied. Give Pubby exactly what he asks for, and what does he do? “I need facts.” I don’t even think this he/she can read!

Administrator, you should ban him. Anyone [who is a] lawyer should be banned from this website. No Crisps, Pubbys, Imses, or Elgerts!! Keep them all off!

Heck, let’s kick them out of town while we’re at it. Trash day’s on Monday, right?

  10. RLB says:

It is real obvious to me that Selctman Crisp loves to spend money in his personal life, loves to spend money in his business and then casually or conveniently file bankruptcy to scam his way out of having to pay his debts. Real slippery.

Compare this to his time as Selectman and all his support and votes for everything that includes spending. This is not a person I want controlling any purse strings here in town.

If he cannot control his own spending, how can we trust him to control town spending especially in these troubling economic times?

Let us try for someone that does not have this slippery history.

I am going to vote for Robert Louf and Eric Anderson, both men of integrity.

    TO: Yeswecan May 5 article

You have Publius figured out like evryone else except the Crisp moles!
There has been no Bow Bandit because the insiders have kept control of
    the situation !!

    Hap

  12. Hap@UIO says:

Publius, You still sound like a mole for Crisp. Your approach to everything
is same as a lawyer. maybe Crisp is telling you what to ask.

You have access to Lexus/Nexis and that is not readily available except to lawyers. This is not the place to obtain facts that you question about the
validity of the amounts you question. You should go to PACER and you will see all the amounts that are published are accurate but you do not want to go to PACER because that will verify the truth that you question
    as Crisps mole!

Also see May 5 comments of the web administrator.. The bankruptcy case
of Crisp must be so long that it cannot all be placed on this site but the
most of it is in PACER.. Publius, go to PACER and stop blowing smoke!! I
am not telling you where to find PACER because you know if you know
where Lexus/Nexis is but I will tell the people of Bow.

PACER is a public service provided by the courts that makes cases like
Crisps public on line. It is a US Gvt system. Search PACER in Google,
Yahoo or any other search system and it is easily found.

    Hap

  13. Hap@UIO says:

For the people of Bow the case is Jack and Sheri Crisp 96-12385 MWV..

  14. Paul @ BCC says:

bowandarrow, You are new to this website but the welcome mat is out for everyone.

Wouldn’t it be intersting if Imse, Crisp, & Elgert participated in this debate? There are two sides to every story.

  15. Rick Hiland says:

“I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and
public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.”
    — Thomas Jefferson

  16. yeswecan says:

Paul @ BCC, I know you can’t control this but bowandarrow exposed themselves as being the same person as publius. Right now I am tring to figure out the motive of their action. My guess is that publius is true to his beliefs but bowandarrow is a put on.

  17. tax tired in Bow says:

When is this going to hit the newspapers?

Seems to me voters should know about the character of a selectman that cannot manage his own finances but thinks he can be trusted to manage the taxpayer’s finances?

    Incredible.

  18. Hap@UIO says:

To Tax tired in Bow: Great questions about Crisp. Here are some facts about his role in ethics.

On Berlin Daily Sun Nr 4 Rose Dodge wrote an article on the Berlin
Bandit showing where the $600,000.00 was passed around. The 4th
entry down shows money going to Donovan Dejardins. Donovan at that time was a district court judge. It is unethical and questionable about the
legality of such a practice because Crisp would at times go before the
judge as a lawyer. Is that influence peddling to a judge ??

Also, it is well know that issues not argued in lower courts can not be
appealed or presented to higher courts. It is a fact Jack Crisp once
argued before the NH Supreme Court about a Swiss Bank Account that
a foe had that was never mentioned in the lower court and no documents
on the Swiss bank account were in the lower court and the foe had no
money in any Swiss bank yet Crisp went on to decieve the NH Supreme Court 5 justices in an unethical manner that could be called a lie !! If
Crisp denies this he is a liar because Hap knows who has the evidence !!

    Hap

  19. tax tired in Bow says:

It is time to run Crisp out of Bow just like Berlin did.

  20. Hap@UIO says:

Somebody please send me the score. Would like to see the scum run
    out of Bow !! Hap

  21. retiredvet says:

Hopefully, Crisp lost today. That would be a good start in running him out of town.
