Why is Jack Crisp’s bankruptcy important? Several reasons.
Among the dozes of banks, credit card companies, private schools that the Crisps owed money to are several interesting creditors. The Crisp’s owed the City of Berlin $7,000.00.
Crisp owned money to his father to the the tune of $27,000.00
The Crisps owed money to Sheri Crisp’s parents.
Also listed was $6,600,000.00 owed to Major James McFarlane, (Ret).
Jack Crisp’s bankruptcy listed the IRS as being owed $125,095.52. What is interesting about the IRS debt is that there were two IRS divisions involved as well as an attorney from the Department of Justice-Tax Division.
The total liabitilties listed by the Crisps came to $7,490,501.50.
In the end, the IRS received $82,788.09. Everyone else received $31,827.50.
Deducting tens of thousands in lawyers fees (they always get paid) Jack Crisp didn’t pay over $7,200,000.00.
But then he came up with $147,000.00 and a bank loan to buy a house.
Do you want Jack Crisp to continue to represent Bow? He owed the IRS a lot of money. In fact, he owed a lot of people money including his family. ANd they never got all their money back.
He is running for public office. As such, his qualities and experience are open for discussion and explanation. Jack Crisp’s bankruptcy is a public document. A lot of taxpayers didn’t get paid.
He isn’t qualified to represent you or me.
taxedout,
You provide all these alleged facts, but fail to provide any proof. As requested, I submitted my documents already to Paul. Have you done the same?
As to revealing myself: Paul knows who I am. I am certain he can assure you that I am not an elected official in Bow or anywhere else. Nevertheless, if you’re are willing to reveal yourself, I will gladly do the same.
Paul,
Sorry the documents had to be removed due to copyright. I hope that only goes to prove their validity. As typical, I substantiate my statements with proof. Can taxedout can do the same?
Look for it soon. Jack can thank you for the challenge. You were advised to go to PACER. You didn’t. You were advised to go to the Merrimack Registry of Deeds. You didn’t. You were advised to go to the state library. You didn’t.
You argument on proof is interesting. I can’t figure out what you are trying to prove – or disprove. You game appears to be one of confusion and disinformation. You provided the info to Paul? I see no proof of this. But it wasn’t lexis-nexis which you said it was. So it proves Crisp was bankrupt. But you say he wasn’t? But what is your point?
Folks, IMHO publius’s goal is to confuse the issues. Don’t trust anything he says. Stay on point. The only thing keeping the 50 pages of Crisp proof is figuring out how to get it online. It will be up soon.
taxedout,
The information was removed because the site administrator used an abundance of caution. If you would like, I will send you the e-mail, if you write me at publiusonbcc@gmail.com. Anyone on this website is welcome to e-mail.
The information that was posted, and that I obtained was from lexisnexis. Most of the information I will send you. The rest of the information was obtained by calling the city of Berlin offices at 752-7532.
taxedout, I’m not sure what your vendetta against Mr. Crisp is. You have made your views clear, but I wonder if your purposes go beyond simply ensuring that he is not re-elected.
For my end, I state again, I do not know the man. Perhaps Paul is also aware of this, though I’m not certain. I am a concerned citizen who sees you going beyond mere political discourse, and in the arena of personal destruction. I think reasonable people agree that, regardless of anyone’s political views or interests, they should not be subject to vitriol simply because they want to serve their community.
I assure you, taxedout, if someone were doing the same to you, I would be equally outraged.
Publius, your attempt to keep JAck safe is interesting. No mater how you package it, you still don’t make sense. You dontinue to try and move the concersation away form teh FACT that Crisp caued the taxpayers of Berlin a lot of unnecessary expense.
And the Crisp bankruptcy is relevant. Now you use inflammatory accusation such as “vendetta” and “slanderous”. Who are you trying to protect? Again, what is you point about your posting about Crisp’s bankruptcy? the two page document you found is nothing compared to the details of the bankruptcy which you would see if you did what I told you to do. Obviously you don’t want to know the truth or allow anyone to expose the truth about Crisp. Why?
You bait isn’t working. You keep trying to present me in a manner met to discredit me. Give it up.
Folks, let’s stay focused. Don’t be fooled by publius’s attempts to categorize me. Publius is confused about the political system. Anyone running for office is subject to answering to the public.
Don’t let the publius’s of the world control proper discourse!!!
Spell corrected.

taxedout,
I have no complaint with your opinion. What concerns me is that I have openly provided information, while you, who supposedly has this abundance of information, has provided none. Moreover, I do make any conclusions about whether Mr. Crisp is/ would be effective in office. I would not be so arrogant as to impose my personal viewpoints on others. Reasonable people respect those who provide information, and allow others to make their own reasonable conclusions.
As to the attacks: I stand by them. Your posts are so venomous that I think you consistently fail to be objective. Your inability to listen to information contrary to your opinion, is a demonstration that you have difficulty in being reasonable and making reasonable arguments.
I have no issue with you, personally. However, my concern is that you are so passionate about this issue, you cannot look at alternatives in an unprejudiced manner. I appreciate your interest, and applaud that you’re not apathetic. It’s good to see people involved in political discourse. I’m simply challenging you to raise the level of that discourse. Have an opinion, but allow all of us the benefit of knowing the facts that prove the point.
Thanks in advance. Enjoy the beautiful summer-like weather.
I can comfirm publius is not an elected official and please do not use this forum as a guessing game on who is who. Your opinion on the issues is much more important.
Publius – Your continued attemptsto characterize me in a manner suitable to your agenda will not work. Your arrogance is amazing. Apparently if one does not instantly post a response with the Crisp documents one is “venomous”. You have provide nothing but two pages. But to you it is the work of (you) God. My, my.
You are making every complaint about my opinion. Your self appointed authority doesn’t past the laugh test. You seem passionate that Crisp has been honest with us.
The issue here is one of credibility.
Why didn’t Crisp tell us about his bankruptcy and Berlin issues when he ran for office last time? Because he didn’t see is as relevant? That is for the voters to decide.
Jack Crisp went bankrupt on a lot of people. And in between the eight months between the court granting his bankruptcy and the court discharging his bankruptcy he miraculously came up with $147,000.00 to purchase a home. How is that possible if he is bankrupt? It goes to honesty and integrity. I don’t see either with JAck Crisp.
The numerous articles surrounding his tenure as the attorney for the City of Berlin raise many questions about his conduct in civic matters. It goes to his credibility. His conduct in Berlin is very relevant to how he conducts himself as a Bow selectman.
Voters have every right to ask Crisp about his bankruptcy and his (IMHO) failure in Berlin. And Bow voters should expect JAck Crisp to answer. Those who publish this site have been sent the relevant material and hopefully they will publish them. None of the articles or documents have copyright issues. PACER is a public document system for the courts. Publius obviously doesn’t want the whole truth about Crisp.
Stay focused folks. Don’t let the publius’s of Bow run this discussion.
Ask Crisp to address theses issues.
taxedout,
Your comment serves as a better retort for your position than anything I could possibly say.
Thank you for making my life easier.
???????????? Publius, your comments are a puzzle.
But the thread is about JAck Crisp, not you or I (as you would like).
The material has been sent, hopefully it won’t overload the BCC server.
We used to call what publius does ‘talking in rag-time’. Are you sure you’re not a lawyer?
Maybe a soon to be lawyer?
Teacher and taxedout,
I’m sure. If instead, you’d like some great lesson plans on the Traingle Waistshirt Factory Fire, I’ll gladly hook you up. publiusonbcc@gmail.com
Why would *I* need lesson plans on, er, whatever that is that has nothing to do with your double-talk?
Teacher,
Sorry, that was the Social Studies teacher in me coming out. I’ve no idea what subject you teach. Just trying to interject some humor. As a teacher, I know that you’re well that it’s the best way to diffuse tensions. You’ll have to excuse me for trying to lighten up the room.
But seriously, if you need anything on American History, Sociology, Chemistry, or Spanish, I’ll gladly do an exchange with you.
Well maybe you don’t remember but I told you I did my stint in the classroom and have thankfully left that all behind me.
Teacher, what does ‘talking in rag-time’ mean? Thank-you
talking |?tôki ng | ragtime |?rag?t?m|
Something that someone says that another considers foolish; absurd; an absurd comment.
Will the teachers discontinue talking about lesson plans, spelling and other
non related issues to the real issue and that is the bankruptcy case of Jack
Crisp !! I myself have done a raft of lesson plans and I am sure not a single Bow taxpayer could care are hoot about them or a class on spelling.
Thanks from Hap
Hap,
You were a teacher? What subject did you teach, and where? It’s really exciting to see so many educators of this site!
But as Hap said, correcting the spelling and grammar of others and discussing education on this thread is indeed off topic. If you want to talk about it, or share lesson plans, go post in the “open thread” section. I know I don’t want to talk about lesson plans, that’s for sure!
To: Publius
You don´t really care what I tought and where! In my opinion you are
“fishing” for Selectman Crisp because you are Selectman Crisp´s mole!
You are trying to divert attention away from the real issues about
Selectman Crisp´and you will fail because more will come out very
soon and it will all be the truth, not a smokescreen like you are throw-
ing out to coverup for Crisp !!
Hap
This is getting interesting to follow.
Taxed out, anything new. I thought you sent some documentation?
Selectman Crisp, a lawyer, a politician, bankruptcy? If he cannot manage his own personal and business finances, how can he be trusted to help manage the town finances? Shows true character IMHO.
Let’s give Robert Louf a chance.
To: Tax tired in Bow
Your comment on May 3rd about Selectman Crisp is right on Target !!
To: RLB:
Good comment on Apr 30th. Stay tuned !! The best is yet to come !!
The insider has yet to speak !!
Hap
Publius: To yours of Apr 30… My lesson plans were for West Point.
For your info I have in my posession several letters from General William Westmoreland, a great American Patriot and an incredible US
Army General who once was the commander of West Point, one of
the greatest military institutions in the world. I am recently in communication with the present 2 Star US Army General in charge of
West Point on the Hudson River where I was once based. Well, here
again this will give you a chance to divert attention away from the real
issue of the Berlin Bandit and you will probably go into a tirade about the Vietnam War to distract with a smokescreen to coverup for the Berlin
Bandit who you are a mole for!! Army vet will see thru you in a second!!
When you report back to the Berlin Bandit about what I say that is the truth his socks will be in Montreal!!
Stay tuned.. More to come and when the Berlin Bandit gets voted out
what will you look like! Maybe an idiot who is a mole who blows a lot
of smoke to cover up for the Berlin Bandit…
The healthy debate goes on. O Reilly would love this issue that is evolving in a no spin zone. That is because you are trying to spin
the Berlin Bandits cause and you better be careful what you ask for
because maybe your socks will end up in >Montreal..
Well Hap,
I for one don’t wear socks, I find only elite members of the Bow aristocracy cover their feet with luxurious materials. As interesting as you militaristic posturing might be to a psychiatrist, I think it is getting a little off point. This is supposed to be a thread where we shamelessly and anonymously attack a public official with speculation and conjecture. Mr. Crisp has done nothing but give his time and expertise to the town for next to no pay, lets get back to the real work of discussing irrelevant details of his personal life in a mocking and distorting manner. That way in the future anyone thinking of giving something to the town will really have to think twice.
-Yours in search of an honest man
Diogenes
I’m curious Diogenes.of.Bow: When the dozens of documents on Mr. Crisp are published, what will you next defense for Mr. Crisp be? If one runs for public office, one is subject to public scrutiny both good and bad. So, should we only hear about the supposed “good” he has done? Mr. Crisp has taken as well as given. He has ignored and insulted those who attend public meetings. He has shamelessly morphed his legal “expertise” into running the town in a blatant and ignorant fashion.
As with your namesake Diogenes, your cynicism is noted.
Taxedout- Good with the Bad? Public scrutiny of public officials? Let the public scrutiny begin…
Can anyone tell me which of the town’s selectmen was FIRED from his job with the the state of New Hampshire after it was uncovered that he had public employees moving furniture in his home?
Can anyone tell me which of the town’s selectmen skipped the final budget discussions to go YACHTING?
Can anyone tell me which of the town’s selectmen was caught THREATENING state officials in Massachusetts?
I’ll give you all a big hint, its all the same Selectman and his name starts with “K” and rhymes with “MEAN.”
enjoy what you hath wrought….
-Yours In Search of an Honest Man
Diogenes
taxedout and HAP,
Speaking of the documentation: you have now for over a week promised us all documents relevant to this thread topic. In fact, HAP went so far as to promise that it would be provided this past Saturday. As of this writing, no documentation has appeared. For two people so concerned with honesty, open dialogue, and the truth, your inability to provide what you promise is disturbing.
Again, if anyone is interested is seeing the documents I have discovered (including that Mr. Crisp’s bankruptcy was resolved half a decade ago), please feel free to email me at publiusonbcc@gmail.com . I’m always happy to provide information (my information, by the way comes from LexisNexis– which is a simple search engine incapable of bias).
Diogenes,
I cannot express how much I’m looking forward to your posts. Your biting sarcasm is both entertaining and informative.
Diogenes – Where is the proof? Me thinks we have another lawyer amongst us to join our public friend. Please, you’ve made accusations – show me the proof.
Publius – you are funny – Lexis-Nexis not bias. Of course not, it’s an information database.
But you know that. You want to move the subject matter away form Crisp.
Folks, publius and Dogenes are running our town. Don’t be confused. The BCC has the Crisp info. When they publish is it up to them.
taxedout,
On basis are you saying I’m “running our town”? As this site’s administrator has said, I am not an elected official. I am a concrned citizen.
You, again, are making baseless accusations. For someone who yells to the hills about townspeople not being confused, you certainly make enough statements without proof to give many of us pause.
C’mon taxedout, step up you game. If you’re going to take shot at people, you have to have some substance to back it up.
I will respond to some of this because I have personal knowledge of it.
“Can anyone tell me which of the town’s selectmen was FIRED from his job with the the state of New Hampshire after it was uncovered that he had public employees moving furniture in his home?”
You have missed the bigger story and that is, the state of NH hired this person to find corruption in the Dept of HHS. He found $8M of corruption and the shock was too much for these criminals. So the furniture charge is bogus and had nothing to do with the situation. It is a red herring. The man is a hero for uncovering the embezzlement of this money from our government coffers…do you get that?
“Can anyone tell me which of the town’s selectmen was caught THREATENING state officials in Massachusetts?”
You have no facts to back this up, none at all.
Until you do, stop posting such libelous nonsense.
Teacher,
Isn’t a little hypocritical is attack Diogenes for lack of proof for his claims, when you yourself, have no to verify your retorts. Here we are, innocent readers all, you have to trust either you or Diogenes based on your word.
Of course, Diogenes didn’t make an ad hominem attacks on everyone who works are the Department of Health and Human Services, calling them “these criminals.” There’s a lot that will needed to prove on your part if you want to maintain credibility.
So, that being said, bring on the proof Diogenes and Teacher alike!
Hap@UIO,
Your last post makes absolutely no sense. I’ve told you I don’t know Mr. Crisp. It’s been verified by the site administrator that I’m an elected official, and I’ve offered proof regarding the topic at hand (by the way publiusonbcc@gmail.com for those who want it).
HAP, where are the documents you promised? You said you’d have them by Saturday, but I haven’t seen them yet.
As to the socks comment: what in heaven’s name are you talking about? Are you making a joke? If so, I don’t get it.
Whether Mr. Crisp gets elected or not has zero bearing on my life, professional or personal. Unfortunately, (and this is a joke), it seems your making a mountain out of an molehill!
But seriously, I think you’re getting a little carried away with your comments, Hap. We all have the same goals in mind here: to do what’s best for Bow and ourselves. Let’s not lose our ability to be civil, okay?
Well I found this which I believe refers to Tom’s heroic deed where he saved the taxpayers $8M:
“Some of our most active members are teachers, health industry workers, former town and state officials, IT people, business people, and even a former member of General Patton’s army. We have exposed many cases of faulty assessing, backroom deals, and a whole lot of vote fraud. We’ve uncovered the misuse or abuse of millions of dollars of public money in HHS, and in programs such as WIA. We have seen the abuse of the public trust in the educational system. Together we hope to use our experiences to help you fight against corruption.”
http://www.cnht.org/about.php
Key phrase being: “..We’ve uncovered the misuse or abuse of millions of dollars of public money in HHS,…”
That would be Tom Keane.
The ‘criminals’ I referred to are the ones who allowed this.. not all workers for HHS.
Teacher,
I noticed that Mr. Keane’s name is not mentioned on this site. There is a rift between the “we” referred to in the link and Mr. Keane. Could you please show the connection?
I happen to know that this does refer to Mr. Keane since CNHT keeps track of important people who do this kind of good thing. I’ve asked and that is what I was told. I heard the story back when it happened, long before you were involved.
Teacher,
Okay. Since you know this, could you please provide the relevant documentation? Thanks in advance.
Publius, You are claiming I was to send you some documents on Saturday
twice now..Don´t recall anything about documents but I did say I would respond to you and I intend to.
Lexus/Nexis I am familiar with. This organization is very credible but I
would not go into Lexus/Nexis for the documents the court may be covering up. And the court will not deny nor confirm the existance of an
FOI request to them through Justice Dept Washington, DC. From my conversation with the Bankruptcy Court last week I determined they did
not wish to talk to me and I also got the feeling they did not like to hear
about the Crisp Bankruptcy !! I think they just want it to go away !! It will
not !!
Hap
I’m not sure what ‘documentation’ you need? Why don’t you just ask Tom himself? I’m sure he could tell you the same story. This was discussed at length when it happened and is the reason I believe that John Stephen was able to cut $8M from the budget because Keane showed it was being spent fraudulently.
Accept this because it is a fact.
PS – I ‘threaten’ state reps all the time. I threaten them with not voting for them.
Don’t let publius and his cousins distract. tom is not the issue in this thread, JAck Crisp the “Berlin Bandit” is. This is not a “you shoot my dog I shoot yours”. Or “mine is bigger than yours”.
Nice try pubby. Pubby and Dio keep on trying. Pubby, you found a way to look up Crisp. I’m sure someone in your reelect Crisp group as the resources for further discovery on Tom. Dio seemed quite up on Tom, according to his (Dio’s) gospel. Did I-ms(e) Juddge how you Hatem?
New files have been posted at:
Crisp Bankruptcy Files
Notes on the Crisp bankruptcy: The Crisp’s purchased the home in Bow for $367,000.00. They took out a mortgage for $220,000.00. This leaves a balance of $147,000.00 the Crisp’s had to pay for the home. All this before the Crisp’s bankruptcy was discharged.
If the Crisp’s were bankrupt as they claim, where did the $147,000.00 come from? Did they have more than $147,000.00?
On the first page summary the IRS is listed twice. #2 IRS amount may be the amount Crisp paid the IRS to settle, the file isn’t clear. So the first amount, $125,095.52, may be the original amount, #2 the total from the first amount that was paid. Again, the US Department of Justice had an attorney involved with the IRS related to Crisp’s bankruptcy. Why would DOJ be involved? Was their any alleged criminal or civil questions?
The Certificate of Service lists the State of NH, Dept. of Employment Security with a contact person named. Arnold Rocklin-Weare. This man is an investigator for DES. Why would DES have an investigator involved with Crisp’s bankruptcy?
Also, the NH Dept. of Labor, Wage and Hour Administrator was listed. Why?
The articles are self explanatory and disturbing. Disturbing because clearly Jack Crisp cannot manage his own affairs or his business affairs.
Questions to Jack Crisp:
Why did you not come clean about your bankruptcy and failures in Berlin when you ran for Bow selectman the first time on ?
Do you believe that your bankruptcy history is irrelevant?
Where did you get $147,000.00 or more?
That’s the best you can do Diogenes.of.Bow ???? Can you back your accusations up with facts?
I remember reading that the selectman in question received a six month severance package with full benefits. Is that what you do when you fire someone?
Oh I also remember him then blowing the whistle on $10 millions dollars in State Medicaid fraud??
No that sounds like they tried to pay the guy off and it didn’t work??
Hey Diogenes, did this Selectman cut into your graft and corruption????
The Selectman’s name start with K and rhymes with CLEAN. Like in CLEAN government.
Nice mud slinging but it won’t stick because of the facts……the FACTS
According to Wikipedia:
Diogenes of Sinope (c. 404-323 B.C.E.)
A cynic philosopher
The stories told of Diogenes illustrate the logical consistency of his character. He once masturbated in the Agora (public); when rebuked for doing so, he replied, “If only it was as easy to soothe my hunger by rubbing my belly.”[13]
Don’t get any on ya!!
Oh I also remember him then blowing the whistle on $10 millions dollars in State Medicaid fraud.
No that sounds like they tried to pay the guy off and it didn’t work.
