This is a no brainer as for my choice in this election for Selectman, I am supporting and voting for the proven fiscally responsible Eric Anderson and fiscally responsible local businessman Robert Louf for Selectmen on March 12th.

Something Bow can do without are spend thrifts, something Bow desperately needs are proven fiscally responsible officials in these economic times.

I am supporting the proven fiscally responsible Tom Keane for School Board and I am also looking forward to his School Board Reports.

I am supporting a proven fiscally responsible Cindy Martin and a very articulate fiscally responsible Jim Hoffman for Budget Committee.

"I place economy among the first and most important virtues, and
public debt as the greatest of dangers. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt."

Where is the assets list of the Crisp Bankruptcy ??

Where did the $147,000 dollars come from for the house in Bow Crisp bought while in bankruptcy..

How does a man buy a house for $350,000 plus as well as run around in an expensive car while in bankruptcy..

Banks do not normally loan money to people in bankruptcy or diivorce!!

Crisp proved in his bankruptcy that he cannot manage his own personal
finances so he does not belong in Bow as any elected official.

What is Selectman Crisp’s voting record on spending as a Selectman? What is his voting record on spending as Selectman's representative to the budget committee? Does he vote everything carte blanche or is he more frugal in his voting record?

This might tell us if he has in fact learned anything about finances?

It is real obvious from a bankrupcy that he cannot manage his personal and business finances. How then could he be trusted to manage an $8 million town budget?

Publius:

Jack Crisp as city attorney for Berlin, who ripped off the tiny city of
19000 people of over 1 Million Dollars (adjusted for inflation) was
acting as a public figure !!

As selectman for Bow he is also a public figure. !! Nuf said!!

Hap,

Thank you, in advance, for providing the information. I've no doubt we'll find it interesting.

However, I must take issue with you using the term Berlin Bandit, unless of course this is meant as either satire or parody. Is it either, neither, both? The definition of "bandit" is "an armed thief who is (usually) a member of a band." Are you suggesting that Mr. Crisp falls within this definition? (For those who are wondering, the definition comes from: wordnet.princeton.edu/).

As to the alleged, as you put it, "somescreens": you'll have to excuse me for posing questions that are slightly off topic for this thread. For matters unrelated to the BCC website, would you prefer I rather contact you by email?

I have every intention of addressing those so called substantive issue
you are claiming. As soon as I can wade through all the somescreens
you are throwing into the healthy debate to coverup for the Berlin Bandit
I will respond. On the inside the people in the know are aware why
we don´t have a Bow Bandit!!

Get back to you on saturday !! Hap

I will absolutely talk to my friends and neighbors and vote for Tom Keane for school board in hopes that he will keep people informed with what goes on within the Bow school district as he has done a fantastic job as a Selectman. He possesses something that does not seem to exist anymore ....common sense and fiscal responsibility. He knows how to separate the wants from the needs as well as ask the right questions at the appropriate time.

I will vote for Eric Anderson for Selectman because he is a known quality person looking out for the best interests of Bow. Always has and probably always will.

I will vote for Robert Louf for Selectman because he is a good person with integrity and we definitely need a change considering the alternative that I read and learn about.

I will vote for Ms. Martin becasue she has done a very good job on the Budget Committee in her first term keeping a watchful eye on town finances and issues while keeping people informed from her bunker.

As far as the 2nd position on the Budget Committee, I am up in the air on my choice at this time between Ms Treybig, who has done a very nice job on the Recycling/Trash Committee and Mr. Hoffman who made the budget reduction presentation at the school district meeting???? This is a real toss up?? I need to hear more from the candidates.

Hap@UIO,

I'm surprised that given your desire to have a "healthy debate" you choose not to address the substantive issues I've brought up. Perhaps a closer reading of my comments will give you more more fodder for this debate. Unfortunately, the "I don't believe you" line only works so far- my guess is the sandbox. ;-)

taxedout,

As requested, I sent Paul my information that I acquired on the bankruptcy proceedings. However, as my source was trustworthy and verifiable, it was also copyrighted. So, in an abundance of caution, Paul took it down. However, if I'm not mistaken, as I'm not using the information, I believe if I sent the information to anyone electronically, it would fall under Fair Use. If you would like this information, feel free to as Paul, who can, if he so wishes, forward it to you.
