Economy shrinks at fastest pace in 26 years

Looking ahead, economists predict consumers and businesses will keep cutting back spending, making the first six months of this year especially rocky.

“Right now we’re in the period of maximum recession stress, where the big cuts are being made,” said economist Ken Mayland, president of Clear View Economics.

    Well School Board and Select Board are you paying attention. I just read Tom Keane’s latest update and the Selectboard is even looking at a 9% increase. Are they crazy? The microscopic cuts in the huge school budget is a joke. It is time for a tax revolt. See you at the Battle at Bow High School Hill on March 13 @ 7:00 PM.
